Active Noise Cancellation: The outward-facing mic detects external sounds & counters with equal anti-noise to reduce the environmental noise up to 28dB. The inward-facing mic listens inside the ear canal to pick up internal sounds & produce anti-noise again to cancel the left noise. Earcaps prevent noise from going to the ear canal.
