In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of economics, Dr. R. H. Pavithra has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the BEST SCIENTIST and BEST ECONOMIST Award from International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation, the Ester Duflo Award from UNESCO, Karnataka Mahila Ratna award from Durga Foundation, My sore, Shikshak Seva Rathna award from Ajeeva Foundation, My suru, and Kempegowda Award from Karnataka sena pade. Currently, Dr. Pavithra is the Director of Gandhian Studies, Placement Officer, and Chairman of Department of Studies and Research in Economics at KSOU and has held other positions such as Chairman of Board of Studies and Board of Examination of UG and PG in the Department of Economics. Furthermore, she has also undertaken one minor research project, and one scholar has obtained a doctoral degree under her guidance. She is currently supervising four doctoral students.
