The present monograph deals with the various aspects of quantifications needed by the geographers, economists and other social sciences as it has already been recognised that without quantification authenticity and reliability cannot be achieved for practical purposes. The book not only deals with some of the important techniques but also has discussed the theoretical aspects of the quantification such as various sources and systems of the availability of data which helps in using the various techniques.
