Hillbilly Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is an indeterminate beefsteak style tomato that produces enormous 1-3 pound fruits. Tomatoes have orange and red mottled skin with streaks of pink and streaks of red within. An excellent slicing tomato with sweet flavor and low acidity.Start indoors 10-12 weeks before setting outside. Keep growing medium between 70-80°; tomatoes love heat. When first true leaves emerge, transplant the seedling into a larger container, burying the seedling deeply to encourage strong roots. Harden off plants and transplant outdoors into fertile, well-drained soil.Days to germination: 5-10 days, Planting depth: 1/4", Plant Spacing: 36", Soil Temperature: 70-80°, Light Requirements: Full Sun
