Marglobe tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a disease resistant determinate plant that produces deep red globe shaped tomatoes 7 to 10 ounce in size. First introduced in 1925 and has earned an enduring reputation as an excellent canning tomato.Start indoors 10-12 weeks before setting outside. Keep growing medium between 70-80°; tomatoes love heat. When first true leaves emerge, transplant the seedling into a larger container, burying the seedling deeply to encourage strong roots.
