These were the words by one of my post graduates, Dr. Divya, which inspired me to write this book. Anaesthesia Question Bank had been my dream since I was a post graduate. I always wished that such a book was available which would guide us during exam preparation. Most of the post graduates had requested me to write a book on anaesthesia questions. On their request I started this work. My intension of writing this book is not to make a shortcut for exam but an effort to make a comprehensive book consisting of questions which covers all the topics, system wise and could help in exam preparation, in a smooth and organized method. This is a handbook and can be carried easily. As anaesthesia is a vast field, where all the systems and branches are related, you might get questions from anywhere. I have not quoted the year, the university, MD questions or diploma questions. This book will be of great use for 1st year students who are new to the field of anaesthesia and who does not know what to read and where to start from. Despite best efforts to see that the book is without any mistakes, some errors may be present.
