Cedarwood essential oil extracted through the process of steam distillation from the wood pieces of the cedar wood tree, it can help us sleep better, fight tooth cavities, heal minor wounds, help with hair loss and skin. Properties of cedarwood: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, insecticidal and antifungal this oil is one of the several essential oils that may improve hair growth when given a daily scalp massage of cedarwood with thyme, rosemary, tea tree and lavender essential oil along with some carrier oils. How to use: dilute the oil, apply to your skin using swab or cotton ball, and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing; you can also add cedawood oil two or three drops to five teaspoons of a carrier oil like hempseed oil, neem oil, sunflower oil and grape seed oil and apply it to your skin for 20 minutes once or twice a week.
