An air cooler works by drawing in hot and dry air from the surrounding environment. This air is then passed through a wetted pad or media, like a wick or filter. As the air passes through the wet media, water evaporates into the air stream. The evaporation process absorbs heat from the air, cooling it down. The cooled air is then blown back out into the room, creating a more comfortable environment.
