This volume contains the proceedings of two AMS Special Sessions `Geometric and Algebraic Aspects of Representation Theory' and `Quantum Groups and Noncommutative Algebraic Geometry' held October 13-14, 2012, at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
