This is the tenth volume of Rediscovering Gandhi series of books edited by Prof. R.P. Misra. The volume is a collection of papers written by Prof. Misra and published in various international and national journals; and lectures delivered by him during the last two decades. The volume covers all aspects of Gandhi's life: childhood, adolescence, and youth; his South African sojourn and birth of non-cooperation movement there which was transformed into Sayagraha; his return to India, and call for Home Rule as the first step to secure Purna Swaraj (complete independence) for India, and his non-violent movement (Satyagraha) to free India from the British Rule.Then there are chapters which cover themes like Truth is God, Sarvodaya, Swaraj, Gram Swaraj, Gandhian Economics, Modernism and Post-modernism, Democracy, Human Rights, Ecology, Education and Peace.
