This book is an eclectic description of the technologies and underlying physics for a wide range of remote sensing systems, including optical, thermal, radar, and lidar. With generous use of full-color graphics, an interesting and diverse set of applications are illustrated which, in many cases, are not found in current remote sensing textbooks.
