Eagle is a bird of prey. It has such sharp senses and eyesight that nothing can escape from its vision. It is also the trusted mount for Lord Vishnu. Eagle, or Lord Garuda, is a metaphysical symbol with a human face. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu is the one responsible for preserving all life processes on earth. Hence, his vehicle, the eagle or Garuda, is symbolic of providing skills required for managing and running a system. Hence, an eagle kept in the southwest direction tends to enhance the abilities that an individual possesses.
