Joy is a retired professional in his early seventies. His wife, Rosy, is over sixty five years old. She is a house wife. Baby is their only son employed at London. Nancy promises her grandpa that she will be able to knit a fascinating novel with the bits of love. The true life events of some of his friends are also included in the story. Most of the events date back to the days of the middle of the twentieth century. The events are related to the culture and the social life of average villagers of the central Travancore area during the early stages of our independent India. It depicts the challenges and hardships faced by the general public in the early years of the independent era. It is centered on the splashes of the true love stories erupted from the primary classes to the college days and finally to the youthful times. The story proves that true love can withstand all the odds even in the evenings of one’s life. Love is endless in the mind of the innocents.
