Dried Muchkan is fragrant flower herb of flowering tree also known as Pterospermum acerifolium, karnikara, Maple-Leafed Bayur Tree, Dinner plate and Bayur tree found in Southeast Asia. The flower is used in religious ceremonies. It can be used in place of fresh flowers for offering in Hawan, Yagyas or Homams. The flower has great medicinal properties. Helps balance all three doshas - Vaat, Pitta and Kapha. It provides relief from throat infection, headache, nasal bleeding, cough, cold, ulcers and wounds.
