Two aliens fall in love, ignoring the squabbles between their races. However, their enemies will do all they can to hunt them down and destroy the child of their union in Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ Saga. This is the first volume in the graphic novel series. Summary of the Book Two soldiers on the opposite sides of a galactic war fall for each other. Their timing and affair couldn’t be any worse, for each of their sides hates the other with a vengeance. However, love knows no boundaries or species, and when their union bears fruit in the form of a young girl-child, they realize that they will have to do everything in their power to stop their warring races from trying to annihilate her. This story blends interstellar battles with a romance story that spans galaxies and tells the tale of two lovers as they try to find a way to raise a family in peace. The unique artwork and gripping story make this a tale fit for the stars. About the Authors Brian K. Vaughan is known for his creation of Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina and Runaways. Fiona Staples is recognized for her work on North 40, DV8: Gods and Monsters, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents and Saga. Saga is currently 4 volumes into the story, and the pace gets faster and the artwork more unique with each volume.
