Homosexuality has become a fierce topic of debate during the twentieth and early twenty-first century. Most of the debate has raged over whether homosexuality is a choice or a condition, moral or immoral, and even whether it is legal or illegal to engage in such activity. The debate has followed many opposing and supportive arguments. Here the dissertation tries to find out the social response towards to homosexuality and how laws deal with same-sex marriage in different jurisdictions around the world. The Present study discusses the legal position of same-sex marriage, as well as the legal situation and society's perspective. we have payed close attention to the concerns surrounding same-sex marriage.
