Onions are a great crop for the kitchen terrace poly house gardens. They are a kitchen staple and play a role in a great number of recipes. You can grow your own onion at home garden. Growing onions from seed can seem a little intimidating, but it's really not much fuss at all. Plants take around 90+ days to mature, so you'll need to better part of 4 months to get full grown onions, although the bulbs can be harvested before they are fully mature. Sprinkle the onion seeds on top of the soil, casually spacing them about 1/4″ apart. Cover the seeds with a sprinkling of potting soil and water them in well.
