He has also written The Widow and Her Hero, The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith and Three Cheers for the Paraclete. Media Note This book is based on the life of Poldek Pfefferberg, a Holocaust survivor. It was adapted into a hit movie entitled Schindler’s List, directed by Steven Spielberg. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
