We are living in the technological world wherein the human beings are reduced to slaves of machines. They demand several things from the machines and if they are not able to get the desired things, it leads to frustration, tension, and unhappiness. We are not taught how to remain happy in our life. It is very important to understand what happiness is, do we find happiness inside us or outside, how to stay happy both during success and failures etc. Such a course on happiness should assist students not only to become better professionals but also a good human being. If we want to introduce a course on happiness, to be offered by any university/institution/college, it is going to be an interesting and welcome subject. Further such a course would assist professionals across industries both in private and public sectors to become better professionals with human values of goodness in their profession and society. The book entitled "Science, Economics and Engineering of Happiness" fulfills these requirements and deals with all the necessary aspects of happiness. The book contains ten chapters: The book also contains exercises and multiple-choice questions with answers and their explanations. The key words given will act as an executive summary of the book. The authors would welcome the observations from the readers for its improvement.
