The Hardy Boys must tackle a crime gang in Secret of the Red Arrow, a Hardy Boys Adventures novel by Franklin W. Dixon. Summary of the Book Joe and Frank Hardy retired from their detective work. However, they don’t know that it isn’t an easy task. They have their work cut out for them. A series of strange and disturbing pranks erupt around Bayport, starting with a bank heist. The pranks are orchestrated by Seth Diller, an amateur filmmaker who wants to make money from a reality-horror film. However, after the Hardy Boys put a stop to this project, a series of similar pranks disturbs the peace. The difference is that these pranks are far more dangerous. The clues point towards organized crime, and the Hardy Boys are caught right in the middle of the action. About Franklin W. Dixon Franklin W. Dixon is the pseudonym of several writers, all of them ghostwriting the Hardy Boys series of stories. The name was first used by a Canadian writer called Leslie McFarlane. The rights to the name and the books are owned by Simon & Schuster, a publishing house based in New York. The Hardy Boys were created by Edward Stratemeyer, founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, a book-packaging firm.
