This is a very beautiful plant that will grow into a large twining climber suitable for a pergola or to cover a wall which when in flower will be bear many sprays of rich blue/purple. With age the main supporting stem will form quite a trunk and it has large leathery leaves that have a rough texture. Full sun is the preferred location and it is good for elevations up to 1,800 m. Propagate from seed or cuttings.
