All of these stories written by O. Henry are full of spiced material, compassion Humor and surprise ending. His real name was William Sydney Porter and he was born in Greensboro, north Carolina, in 1862.He worked in a Bank, as a book-keeper before he bought a magazine which later became “The Rolling Stone” in 1894. He was sentenced to five years in prison for embezzling in the bank. After his release he went to New York and there he became the famous O. Henry, America’s and the World’s one of the greatest short story teller.
