The entire book is full with interesting recipes as well as thought-provoking observations and ideas. The tips and advices, alongside the recipes shown here, resemble an empathetic mother giving advice to her child, not directly but carefully, which slowly touches to the heart of readers. Short descriptions about Indian festivals and cultures, their meaning and why we celebrate them, also tie in beautifully. Seven Wonders in my Spice Box, won the award of 'Gourmand World Cookbook awards 2014' in the category of best Women chef cookbook in India.
