An amusing collection of stories that recount the experiences and daily life of 2 American missionaries, the Leitch sisters. The sisters spent 11 years in Ceylon and Southern India preaching the gospel and trying to find as many converts as possible. The stories, thus have a very evangelical bent and see the native customs through a condescending lens. The book has 33 stories in all and are accompanied by wonderful illustrations.
