This book is the continution of Different Shades of Life. The previous book talked about thw lifce of Kizie and the emotional turmoil she faced through her teenage life and how she actually dealed with the problems and situations that came into her way. Shades of Life goes on to discuss Kizie's experience after losing her father and how she coped with her feelings.
