After receiving your SBI FASTag, it is crucial to activate it within 24 hours; failing to do so will render the FASTag invalid and it cannot be activated later. If you attempt to cross a toll plaza with an inactive FASTag, it will be immediately blocked, and no new FASTag will be issued for the same vehicle number for the next 90 days. Therefore, it is strongly advised to install the FASTag on your vehicle only after successful activation. Moreover, activating your FASTag within the 24-hour window makes you eligible to receive up to five FASTags free of cost in the future, if required.
