About the Authors Govindrao "Hemadpant" Dabholkar was a follower of Sai Baba at Shirdi. He first heard of Sai Baba in 1910 through his friend and quickly felt the desire to see him. After a strange coincidence saw him transferred to a nearby district, he met the saint and began following his teachings and spending time amongst his disciples. His Sai Satcharita has been translated in many languages and is followed by Sai Baba worshippers everywhere. Indira Kher is a retired Professor of English and Marathi translator. She held the office of Editor of the Sri Sai Leela magazine and is also the author of Avadhuta Yogi Pant Maharaj. For her services to Marathi literature, she was awarded The Radhabai Paonasakar Silver Medal and The Hari Pundit Prize.
