Ra” means brilliance, and “Dha” means that it attracts all the auspiciousness towards itself. It represents the forces of Devi Shakti and is itself a powerful mantra. A combination of these, i.e., Radha, has the capacity to bring within reach all the goals that an individual desires, including the most desired of all, Bhakti, which is the supreme love beyond all liberation. It is a “Shuddha Tattva,” i.e., the purest of the pure.The sages of Vaishnav Sampradaya have spoken of Radha Rani as the epitome of Param Bhakti. Radha is also known as Radhika, Radha Rani, and Radhika-Rani. Within the theology of the Vallabha and Vaishnav sects, she is prominently mentioned. In the Brahma Vaivarta Purana and Garga Samhita, her relationship with Shri Krishna has been described at length.
