This book cover the fundamentals and advanced topics of ‘C’ Programming from core to advanced level of programming in ‘C’ the content of this book based on curriculum of UP Technical and Uttaranchal Technical University. Students of other Universities can also refer this as a text book. It teaches how to design and develop a real world system using procedural concepts and later on how to write good programs in ‘C’, free from complex definitions, so that beginners can develop a good understanding of procedural programming concepts and use of ‘C’ language to implement it , in a short period of time. Further in all chapters we combine a tutorial style based explanation of ‘C’ and its various features through examples with a reference style. As result, each chapter consists of relatively short sections pages that simplify the student’s task. The book is primarily designed for use in undergraduate and postgraduate computer science course having self review questions after each chapter. Without sit on computer and write program one cannot learn ‘C’ so we attached several lab exercise. Book will be equally useful to Professional Programmers who intend to learn the language on their own. About The Author Dr. Kunwar Singh Vaisla received the Ph.D in Computer Science from Kumaon University, Nainital in 2011 and Master Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) & Graduation in Science (B.Sc.) from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 1998 and 1994, respectively. He is presently working as Associate Professor (Computer Science & Engineering) in BT Kumaon Institute of Technology (Formerly Kumaon Engineering College), Dwarahat-263653, District-Almora-Uttarakhand. It is a Govt. Autonomous Institution. Insterested field of research are G2C Strategies, e-Governance, Data Warehouse and Mining, Complex/Compound Object Mining, IBIR. He authored many research papers in International/National Journals/Conferences in the field of computer science and also many books in reputed publishing house. He associated with many International/National journals of repute as editorial/reviewers board member. Having the membership of many international/national professional bodies of Computer Science & Engineering (like IEEE, CSI, ISTE etc). Dr. M.K. Sharma is working as Associate Professor and Head MCA program, with Department of Computer Science, Amrapali Institute of Management and Computer Applications, Haldwani (Uttarakhand). He obtained, his Ph.D. (Computer Science) from Kumaun University, Nanitaal. He has authored 10 books. He has contributed many research papers and articles in international, national journals and magazine including e-Gov Asia, CSI Communication, MacMillion Advance Research Seriesion e.k.ov (Information Technology) and MCA degree and pursuing his Ph.D. (Computer Science) from Kumoun University, Nain. He is study material writer for Distance Education programs of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa (Haryana), IASE University, Punjab Technical University and Uttarakhand Open University. He is member of Special Interest Group of E-governance (SIG e-Gov). He is associated with International Journal of Information Technology and Management as Executive Editor and as Ph.D supervisor with some Indian Universities.
