This book, written by the author of the award-winning best-seller Lean Manufacturing for the Small Shop, describes six sigma, what it is, and how it is used in smaller companies. While it concentrates on six sigma in the small shop environment, it shows the relationship between continuous improvement, lean, and quality. This book focuses on implementation for operators and team leaders, as well as managers and job shop owners. It explains how continuous improvement tools support each other and can accomplish what one or two tools (on their own) cannot.
