MNRE 5000 is an MNRE approved and specified solar lantern with an inbuilt SMF battery of 84Wh and an external Solar Panel of 10W. It is very popular for distribution amongst rural masses and has been deployed for numerous CSR based projects. It gives output equivalent to a 7W CFL or close to 500 lumens and has a battery backup of upto 10 hours with a single days sunlight. The product also has mobile charging feature which makes it multipurpose & intended for everyday use.
