On Christmas Eve, Sophie, a nine year old girl wakes up to find that there is no Christmas present for her - while everyone in her neighbourhood got presents. She even doubts Little Jim, her neighbour might have stole her present. Soon her parent's in-laws arrive and starts exchanging gifts. But still Sophie grieved being the two only one to not have got a Christmas present. Dejected she storms out of the house in the middle - when the whole family were gathered for a afternoon meal. She arrives at a nearby church and sits outside watching people revelling. Seeing a lone girl, the church's pastor takes Sophie for a walk to give Christmas a whole new meaning.
