Morning glory grows as a perennial in U. S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 through 10. It is found naturally in the Central Valley, the Sierra Nevada foothills and the central California coast. Its trumpet-shaped pink, purple blue or white flowers bloom early in the morning.
