He is President of U.P. Parishad since 1984, Chief Editor of Research Journal of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Director, Shri Aurobindo Research Institute. Dr. Sharma is a prolific writer and an authority on Sri Aurobindo’s Thought. He is author of more than a hundred books and an equal number of research papers in the field of Philo¬sophy, Psychology, Sociology and Education. More than two dozen scholars from India and abroad have received their Ph.D. degree under his able supervision.
