Srimad Bhagavad Gita, constituted of 700 verses divided into 18 chapters, is a part of the great epic Mahabharat.It is a conversation between Sri Krishna and Arjun, intended to make Arjun aware of his responsibilities on the battlefield. It gradually becomes an instructional programme to live a perfect life as a householder, and yet connect with the Supreme Soul by fulfilling one’s responsibilities without seeking the fruits of the actions performed.This makes it a complete course in self-realisation, and seeking happiness and contentment in life.
