It has been four years since the Brood War ended. The emperor has rebuilt much of his Terran Dominion and consolidated a new military force despite the ever-present alien threat. Within this boiling cauldron of strife and subversion, a young woman known only as Nova has the potential to become the Dominion's most lethal and promising "Ghost" operative. Utilizing a combination of physical aptitude, psychic power, and advanced technology, Nova can infiltrate any situation and strike without being seen or heard. And, like a phantom, she exists only as a myth to the enemies of the Dominion she serves.
