The Sarvadarsanasamgraha is one of the few Sanskrit texts that attempts to give an exhaustive overview of all schools of Sanskrit philosophy. It was composed in the fourteenth century in the south of India but had to wait until the nineteenth century to be rediscovered by modern scholarship. It then influenced the first presentations of Indian philosophy but was subse-quently largely ignored by academic scholarship. This explains that a number of misunder-standings about this text could arise and be kept alive. The present volume deal with a number of these.
