Saee Color.Mustard. Madurai is famous for pure sungudi cotton materials with lot of designs and colors. This saree is having hand made design in body color and big border. The material will be thin type and can be used as daily wear. The length of the saree will be 5.5 meter .One of the unique features of Sungudi sarees is that they have Bandhani pattern or print on the whole sari. It is 100% Cotton Material and suitable for Daily regular uIt is then taken out and washed in the Vaigai River water (the water of this river is believed to give a special sheen to the fabric) and then dried. This process is repeated over a week. After washing and drying, the fabric is subjected to dyeing in a vat with a solution of alizarine red and kasa leaves.
