Summary of the Book Even as Superman tries to convince the people of the Earth that he’s trying to help, he also has trouble managing his dual lives. Lois Lane is out to prove that she’s a better reporter than he is. He might have trumped her by bagging the story of the century, but Superman is already old news. There are bigger fish out there. Among them is the story that the Government has hired the intelligent inventor couple, the Luthors, to try and find a way to kill the Man of Steel. Superman has faced aliens and monsters before, coming out with barely a scratch. However, what will he do when two of the smartest humans alive try to find a way to put a stop to him?
