Advaita Vedanta is the pinnacle of philosophy. The elements of Advaita Vedanta contained in the Upanishads were first presented by Gaudapadacharya in 'Mandukya Karika'. His disciple Shankaracharya wrote commentaries on ten major Upanishads. These ten Upanishads are considered authentic. Shikshavalli of Taittiriya Upanishad is called Sahitya Upanishad and the eighth and ninth chapters, which are Brahmanandavalli and Bhriguvalli of this Upanishad, deal with Brahmavidya.
