Advaita Vedanta is the pinnacle of philosophy. The elements of Advaita Vedanta contained in the Upanishads were first presented by Gaudapadacharya in 'Mandukya Karika'. His disciple Shankaracharya wrote commentaries on ten major Upanishads. These ten Upanishads are considered authentic. Shikshavalli of Taittiriya Upanishad is called Sahitya Upanishad and the eighth and ninth chapters, which are Brahmanandavalli and Bhriguvalli of this Upanishad, deal with Brahmavidya. Varuna is the originator of his sect. For this reason these two Vallis are called Varuni Vidya or Varuni Upanishad. Sureshvaracharya is famous as a commentator in Advaita Vedanta philosophy. Shankaracharya ordered his favorite disciple Sureshvaracharya to write a commentary on the Taitriya Upanishad's commentary. In honor of the guru, Sureshvaracharya first wrote a Vartika on the Taittiriya Upanishad Bhashya, while later a Vartika on the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad Bhashya of his Kanva branch.
