Bruce Lee was born on 27 November 1940 in San Francisco. After spending his childhood in Kowloon, he came back to the United States for higher education, at age 18. Apart from studying philosophy at the University of Washington, he also began teaching martial arts and acting in martial arts based action films, that soon gained attention all over the world and elevated him to an iconic star status.
