The present book can justifiably claim to be the encyclopedia of English as an Academic Language (EAL). This particular aspect of the study of English aims at developing and honing formal writing skills among students. Most schools with an International curriculum offer this course as such writing skills are a prerequisite to acquiring admission to Universities abroad. This book has been designed to equip EAL teachers with pertinent knowledge and modes of expression which adequately equip them to achieve their teaching aims.
