The book is a significant intervention in the study of literature, culture and pedagogy. A variety of subjects are covered ranging from trauma theory, petro fiction, cyber culture, popular fiction, comic books, to digital humanities. Broadly, the essays fall into two categories – teaching of culture and culture of teaching.
