From the highly reputed stables of 20th Century Fox Television comes this 2011 sci-fi thriller series that is based on a parallel universe 85 million years in our past. Created by Craig Silverstein and Kelly Marcel, with world renowned Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg as one of the executive producers, Terra Nova shows us a world in the near future which on the verge of turmoil and natural self-destruction. Using a newly developed time travel technology, a select list of people including scientists, soldiers and other important social roles are picked and sent back 85 million years in the past in order to provide humanity with a superior foundation for our prolonged existence as a race. Starring Jason O’Mara and Shelly Conn, the main plot follows the wild and dangerous experiences of a family of four as they try to fit into this new world that is called Terra Nova.
