In this book, subject matter has been reorganized as per revised syllabus of Pharmacy Council of India incorporating classification with structure, IUPAC name and common name. More emphasis has been laid by explaining general introduction, general mechanism of action, uses dosage form and the structure activity relationship. At the end of chapter gives exercise questions for students. The synthesis of drug is given as per syllabus those are marked for synthesis and other compounds is given with short profile including name, mechanism of action dose and uses.
