An American buys a yakshi head stolen from a Bhubaneshwar temple unknowingly. Sadly, he dies in a plane crash. Feluda, Topshe and Jatayu follow the lead of the yakshi to the Ellora caves to see if they can do something to stop the trafficking of beautiful, invaluable sculptures out of India. But a Bollywood film crew arrives there at the same time and an unexpected murder complicates matters further. Feluda must draw on all his probing skills to solve the case before the vandal strikes again.
