The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain, is commonly named among the Great American Novels. It is the story of a thirteen- or fourteen-year-old boy called Huckleberry Finn. The book vibrantly depicts the places and people alongside the Mississippi river. Summary of the Book Huckleberry Finn has troubles fitting in with the society. He is called Huck by his friends, including his best buddy, Tom Sawyer. Huck’s father is a drunk. Widow Douglas takes care of Huck, teaching him religion and civilized behaviour. But Huck ventures out on several adventures. Twain brings out his best satire on racism and other deep-rooted attitudes of people in this work.
