Tintin And Alph-Art is the final adventure of Tintin written by Herge. Summary Of The Book Tintin And Alph-Art is based on a black and white unfinished manuscript by Herge, who died before he could complete the story. Initially published in the original, unfinished black and white form, it has later been given conclusions by other artists. Tintin And Alph-Art starts with a nightmare the Captain has about a visit from Bianca Castafiore. Tintin wakes him up, and then, in a weird coincidence, receives a phone call from the Milanese Nightingale herself, who informs him that she is visiting the country. She has a new guru, Endaddine Akass and intends to stay at the Captain’s villa. Tintin is intrigued by Akass. Meanwhile, the Captain enters an art gallery while out on a stroll. The Captain goes into the gallery to escape from Castafiore when she is headed in his direction. Unfortunately for him, Castafiore is also heading towards the gallery. She persuades him to buy a piece called a perspex, an alph-art shaped like the letter H. The owner of the art gallery, M. Fourcart, expresses an interest in meeting Tintin. The next day, Tintin learns of an accident in which M. Fourcart is killed, while presumably on his way to meet him. Tintin is suspicious and links his death with the recent deaths of other art dealers. He also suspects that the mystic Endaddine Akass is somehow linked to all this. As Tintin begins his investigations in earnest, he discovers the stunning truth, but he is captured and his own life is in danger as the villains plan to get rid of him in a bizarrely artistic fashion.
