The Bourne Supremacy sees the return of Jason Bourne. The assassin, who thrives within the duality of existence and non-existence, has come back, and is on a murder spree. The U.S. officials know the truth that Jason Bourne, who has supposedly murdered a notable person of the People's Republic, has no existence in real life. This assassin, who murders under a false identity, must be stopped before the panic and terror overtakes Washington, Hong Kong and other parts of the world. It is up to the U.S. officials to devise a plan in order to stop the killings. The Bourne Supremacy is the second in the trilogy written by Ludlum. It is a sequel to The Bourne Identity, and takes off from where the first novel had ended with its protagonist David Webb having gained control over his amnesia. Like the first book, The Bourne Supremacy promises thrills and an action packed reading. Robert Ludlum was an American author who was known for writing thriller novels. He has been recorded to have written around 23 thriller novels which have sold millions of copies all over the world. His most notable work by far remains the Bourne trilogy. Apart from this, his other works include The Chancellor Manuscript, The Holcroft Covenant, The Matlock Paper, and The Road to Omaha.
