"Buck was a big, strong dog. He enjoyed his life as a pet on a ranch in Santa Clara. One day, he is stolen, sold and is eventually forced to be a sled dog in the Yukon. He faces the harsh reality, where he becomes wild as he fights to survive and be better than the other dogs. Soon, he becomes accustomed to his primal instincts, sheds his civilized skin and rises as a top dog in the wild. The Call of the Wild is set in the late 19th century Canada, when sled dogs were a necessity and were much sought after."
